...also for this year the Mentoring Project has finished.

This week there has been the ending party: it was fantastic! Seeing all the kids acting with that enthusiasm, that vitality, that passion, it has filled my heart. Yes...if I think back to some of them, how they were at the beginning...wow how far they have gone! ...and how many changes took place in them! Some of them thought they were worth nothing, they always stayed at the borders, they always felt out of place.

They considered everything concerned them without value, therefore they tried to renounce to each challenge or not even starting it.

Now they are able, thanks to their mentors, with the entire "team" to see the world with different lenses and especially to see themselves differently.

Together with them I have started this path by chance.

I have worked, in fact, as a consultant for the school for many years.

When the school principal suggested me this project I have believed in it from the start.

Many kids, unfortunately, often don't have important, charismatic, and meaningful reference.

This kids have found them and thanks to them they have developed a greater trust in themselves. They are no longer bullies, they are no longer victims, they have learned to identify and communicate their emotions.

Now they no longer have the head down but they look at the future with optimism. This is the result of a path started three years ago which has given so many emotions to the kids, mentors, and professor Faragasso who has been a wonderful co-worker and me!
