Mentoring Project, Solbiate Olona
My daughter Alessia enrolled in Mentoring three years ago after she found out about it thanks to some classmates who already attended it.
As parents, following the enthusiasm of our daughter, we collected information about it and we decided to make Alessia do this experience because of her introvert personality and low self-esteem.
Just a few months ago I noticed the changes my daughter underwent!
Fears and lack of confidence she had in relating to others have disappeared and her self-esteem is improving; I believe in the possibility of obtaining further progress for her by keeping attending her Mentor.

They asked us to express our opinion regarding the Mentoring Project activated in the elementary school "G. Pascoli" ofSolbiateOlona who our son attends.
Initially, not understanding what it really was, we were a bit skeptical and we thought this hour and half dedicated to our child as a simple moment of leisure.
Andrea is now in his second year of Mentoring and after so much time we have understood that the moments dedicated to him by a careful and prepared volunteer have allowed Andrea to live school as a moment of global growth and not only teaching.
Andrea has been helped to face the world of school with serenity and with the same serenity to include himself in those rules which seemed difficult and adverse to him.
Thanks Mentoring, and thanks to your persisting and passionate Volunteer and especially ERMINIA.

My name's Laura and I am the mother of Giovanni a ten year old who attends Mentoring from the 1st of September in other words for five years.
The first year has been important as with the arrival of his brother and the starting of the school year Giovanni had closed in himself, he did not talk with us of his "little or big" problems or simply he did no tell anything of what happened to him in school.
Now I must say that Giovanni has changed. He is more open thanks also to his mentor and mrs. Carmen who accepted him as a nephew and with a lot of patience has played, spoken, and studied with him.
I think that next year he will miss everything but for Giovanni it will be the start of a new adventure: middle school.
